Latest Time To Board Eastern Cruise

We have 9 people in our party, some would like to go to kennedy space center before getting on the boat. Has anyone ever done this before? It looks to be a 20 mile drive and they would have drop off a rental car. Any advice would be helpful. I would hate for them to miss the boat... We are flying in late friday night and staying in port canavarel and our flight leaves the day we get off the boat, so this is the only chance. thanks.

I think the latest you are supposed to board is 3:00 p.m. They could bring the luggage over in the morning or something, drop it off go the Space Center and come back later. Muster is at 4:00 and sail away is usually at 5:00. Good luck.
