We were thinking about going to MK on November 9, and it turns out it'll be a Christmas party day. If we don't choose to buy party tickets, what's the latest time we can get a dinner ADR for? We were hoping for a BoG reservation.

Also, are reservations harder to score on party days? I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to planning and I want to know how throrough to make my contingency plans :)

last year BOG was 6:05 or 6:15 the latest

not sure what this year will bring.

Last year the cut off for reservations without party tickets for BoG was 6:15. It can be harder to get a dinner reservation because of the shorter time frame for those without party tickets and because some party goers will want to dine before the start of the party.

Thank you for the help and insight! I have a follow up question - are reservations past the cutoff time only available to people who have already bought a party ticket? i.e., if I try to make a reservation at 7 but I haven't bought a party ticket yet, will it let me? (Hope that made sense!)

the system will not know if you are a party goer or not. So if you make a 7:30 adr on a party night and do not have a ticket, you will not be allowed to stay for your adr

at this time, there is no linkage :)

When I was searching for our fall trip this year, on MNSSHP days it was only searching BOG dinner times from 4:00-6:00 and was not putting any times up after 6:00. I'm thinking of you had MNSSHP tickets linked to your account it might open up later times- as I think in last years BOG took ADRS for at least the first hour of the party (although I would not recommend spending party time in a TS). I'm guessing whatever it does for MNSSHP will likely be the same for MVMCP this year.

You can make a dining reservation for any time that is available. The system doesn't know if you already have tickets or are planning to buy them closer to the party date. However, if you don't have party tickets when you arrive at the restaurant to check in you will not be able to dine.
