Latest seatings at breakfast question

I'm wondering how diners are treated when the restaurant is nearing the close of breakfast/beginning of lunch? Is there a rush to get the final breakfast patrons out pronto so lunch can begin? Is the lunch opening delayed slightly if a table has not quite finished in time? Does lunch open while the remaining breakfast diners complete their meal at their pace?

I'm specifically wondering about this as we have PSB reserved for the latest breakfast seating. I worry that we'll be rushed from start to finish to hurry up and get done so they can close the restaurant before reopening for lunch.

Did I make sense at all?

I'll be interested to see the responses to this question as well--I just realized that we got the last seating for the Princess Storybook breakfast as well.

On our last trip in July we had breakfast at CRT. We ate as late as we could (around 10:30 I think). When we got there the place was packed, but as we ate it got emptier and emptier. When we finished we were the last ones left (8 in our party).

We were not rushed out at all. It was cool to have the whole place to ourselves (of course all of the characters were already gone).

We always go for a very late breakfast to Chef Mickey's, and have never felt rushed. The place is usally half empty, the food is still plentiful, and we get plenty of character-interaction due to the low crowds.

Does anyone know what time they stop serving lunch and start the dinners?

And if there are different times for different restaurants is there somewhere I could find this out? I look on All Ears, but it just shows the lunch menus, but not what time you can get them until.

We had the very last breakfast slot at PSB one time right after it became a character meal (11/04 I think). Anyhow, we did not feel all that rushed, but we did think the character interaction was rather poor. Characters (Minnie, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Mulan) all rushed right by us -hardly time for posing for the picture. It was even DS's 5th b-day, and none of the characters or CMs made any notice of it -even after I had noted it when I made the ressies. Maybe it was the timing after all, but attribute it more to the character/guest ratio. Anyhow, by far our most disappointing character meal experience.

Last week we accidentally had the last seating at CRT for breakfast (we were running very late, but called and let them know). Cinderella stayed with DD in her lap for about 15 minutes while we were waiting for out table. This was the highlight of our trip. The other princesses were pretty brief with us at breakfast (except fairy godmother), but we were so happy we didn't care. The food was still hot and tasty and we did not feel rushed.

We had very late (11:20 AM) breakfasts at both Chef Mickeys and 1900 Park Fair. The food was still fresh and hot, the character interaction was good at CM and great at 1900 PF and we were not rushed at all!

Then again, neither place does lunch! I can see that a restaurant that is waiting to set up for lunch would have a very different feel at around 11:30 AM.

I'm so glad to hear this. We have ADRs for CM at 10:10 and I was afraid we'd feel rushed.
