Latest pics of the decorations on the Castle

Pictures are in the Castle Feb 26 2005 album. They have added some more decorations to the Castle. They also have the supports for the screen that will be in the middle.

The hub walls are still partially up.

The park was very crowded today. It also was very overcast and looking like it was going to rain any minute.

I will be off to Atlanta for work this week so no new pictures until after Mar. 8.

They will be up for 18 months from May 5, 2005. So you will get to see them in person.

safetymom, are there lights on the spirals that have been put around the blue spires? It looks like something is on them but I can't quite make out just what. I noticed this in pics #2 & #3.

No lights. It's just the way the sunlight hits the decorations.

safetymom - thanks so much for posting these updates - my little DNeph and I check them out each time he comes over - can't wait to show him these photos - we've been waiting for the characters to appear !!! Can't wait to see Peter, Wendy and Tink go up !!

What do you think the hub will look like when they are done? From your pics it looks as if they are doing much the same as they did for the hub in front of the train station. - thanks again - keep 'em coming !!!

The hub looks like the flower beds around the flag pole area without the curbs. The hub looks very nice. No worries about tripping over a curb in the dark. It will really look nice when they take down the rest of the wall.
