Latest on FOTL?

I called today to inquire about room rates at PB amd HRH in June, and also asked about the FOTL privileges. The very nice reservationist told me that FOTL is still all day, every day, except for the few rides excluded, and that as far as she knows, there are no plans to change this policy. I plan to make a 2-3 nite ressie at either PB or HRH, but keep the same three nites at the AKL. If a change is made in the FOTL perk, I'll cancel my USE ressie. FOTL would make it worthwhile for us to move mid-vacation, etc., but otherwise we'll stay put at WDW.

As I understand it, with the new system, FOTL is still all day - but you can only use the priviledge once per ride. So when they say it is still all day, that is true, but not with unlimited access.

They need to inform the resort reservationists about the new policy coming into effect! I was told yesterday, when asking about reservations for June, that FOTL access would be all day, with unlimited rides on all the attractions.

Wow, I sure am confused. We just got back from WDW and I am now planning an August trip to WDW and Universal. I'm trying to decide where to stay when we visit Universal--I thought an easy decision. What is the real advantage to staying onsite at Universal?

Advantages of staying onsite would be FOTL access from open to close one time per ride/attraction per day. Not paying parking at the parks. No long walk into the parks. Having transportation by boat, bus or walking (Hard Rock) to the parks. Priority seating at parks, onsite hotel restaurants and citywalk (not Emerils) meaning no ressies necessary and no longer than a 15 min wait for a table. And the very best perk of all (my opinion) staying at a beautiful resort. Early Admission into the parks on select days. Complimentary delievery of packages to your room from the parks. Oh! and getting an entertainment rate of $117.50 a night at Hard Rock (when available)
