Latest ME bus

We are checking out of AKL on June 7th, but we aren't flying out until the 8th. We're staying the last night at the MCO Hyatt. We plan to take a late ME bus back.

From looking at the MCO departure schedules, there's a JetBlue flight at 11:39 pm. I figure that should put us on an 8:30 or so bus. Are there any ME buses that run later than that?

There are DME motor coaches driving from WDW to MCO until quite late at night to meet arriving late-night flights. Usually those motor coaches have no passengers because the arriving aircraft will be parked at MCO until early the next morning.

Call Disney's Magical Express Guest Services at 866-599-0951. Tell them what you have in mind. For example, ask them if it's it's possible to depart from your resort around 9 or 10 p.m. You may have to ask for a supervisor if you get an agent you only handles business-as-usual DME reservations.

I successfully made such a reservation in the early years of DME. I did not provide bogus flight information. I just told them when I wanted to depart. They made the reservation for me, but warned not to miss the pick-up because it was very unlikely there would be a later pick-up.

Then, after you call DME Guest Services, please return to this thread and post what you learned.

I just realized that I never followed up here. We asked what the latest bus would, and they told us they are a 24-hour operation and we could pick our own return time. We chose 9:30 pm.

When the ME driver picked us up, he asked right away if we were staying at a hotel near the airport. He said any pick-ups that late are almost always people staying over another night, as few flights are scheduled at that time. We made a stop at AsSports, but the guests were a no-show, so we had the bus to ourselves.
