latest into room?

We are going Friday Sept 19 and staying at POP. We are arriving around 10:30am. We have to be at the BC by 5:00pm. What are the odds I will be in my room by 3:00pm so we can get ready for our dinner at the Yatchman Steakhouse at YC? Last time we didn't get our room until 4:30..that would be absolutly no good....

I would say that your chances are pretty good since September is a slower season for WDW. On the other hand, since they are offering free dining it may be more crowded than normal. Have a wonderful time.

What are your room requests? That would be the hold up on getting your room earlier than 3:00. If you have none, you can easily ask at the front desk when you check in for any available room at that time.

I've actually never had to wait until 4:30 for a room in any time I've stayed on Disney property. That seem s like an extreme incident to me.

If memory serves...the offical check-in time at POP is 4pm. So, if that is the case they don't have to give you a room before that time. My feeling is that you will get in without trouble at around 3pm. I agree with the PP that if you have no room requests you should get in when you arrive.

luck sometimes been lucky other times not. ask the CM when you check in they will try to help if they can.

When we were at the CBR in 2006, our room wasn't ready but they gave us the building # and a phone# to call to check when it was ready. It was early afternoon so we went and had some lunch. After we were done we went to the building # that we were giving and called to see if our room was ready. They said it wasn't but to call back. It was pouring out and we really couldn't do anything except stick around our building. So about every half hour we called. Kept hearing the same thing.... the mousekeeper hasn't let them know the room was ready. Finally about 4:30 they said our romm was ready. The kicker of the whole thing........ we were standing outside our room the whole time! Our room had been ready all along!!!!!
