Later check in at PORS

My DD and I will be at PORS, arriving Saturday, 9/28. Our plane is supposed to land at 7:00 p.m.; with luck we'd get to the resort before 8:30 p.m. Usually I get early flights so we're there before noon. Check in has never been a problem and, if I didn't like a room location I would wait an hour or so for a better location when they have it ready.

What do you think I'll see or get when we check in after 8:00 p.m.?

I hope it turns out ok for you but I can only offer our own experience in mid-July. We checked in on a Saturday, after 7pm and got everything I had asked for in the fax request I had sent 3 days prior. Corner room with 2 windows, overlooking river, AB Bldg 14 closest to the food court/lobby.

It seemed pretty packed then and I was fairly surprised to find we got all our requests, even the smallest details.

Again, hope it works the same for you. If it helps, the entire resort is absolutely beautiful. If you don't mind walking a bit (the farthest buildings) through beautiful scenery and ducks, you don't have a thing to worry about.
