I can't believe it's only 8 days until I'm back in the world.

Last year was supposed to be a one off trip of a life time with DH.

I feel so lucky to be able to go back :-)

Look out for us - DH will have a mobility scooter and probably driving like it's a car! We also have DS who is a young looking 15. Have you just gone through the endless waiting for A level results? DD has deferred her place at Sheffield until next year (fashion design) as she just missed her first choice of Leeds for this year.

;)

I think there is quite a few of us going in the next week or so :)

Yes we've had stress & tears ;) Her 1st choice Uni have confirmed her place as she met their requirements, but she's disappointed in her grades & now worried about how she'll be leaving home:scared:. To be honest we booked this hol for when we did to distract her from the nerves (as well as cheaper time of year) - we land back on the Friday & she leaves on Sunday.

All the best to your DD, my son did the same - in some ways I think it's better to defer a year - being 19 when they start they're more ready to leave home - my DD was only 18 two weeks ago.

We arrive at OKW on 3rd Sept, I'll keep an eye out for you:wave2:

I'll be in the same situation with DS - his birthday is 8th Aug. DD is more than happy now after she read online that Sheffield Hallam is partners with Disney! 1 of 9 UK uni's that participate in the college exchange and they include the costume dept - she's doing fashion design! :cool1:

We plan to have an easy second week so hopefully will be around OKW a bit, we'll keep an eye out for you too!

:goodvibes
