Late Summer Offer

So now that the summer offer is out for Visa holders, does anyone know when we can expect a late summer/ early fall offer? I know it's never a given that an offer will come out but since it's a slower time of year compared to summer I'm guess there will be something. We already have FD from the bounceback we booked last August but now a friend wants to come but only if FD is offered.

To those who were able to get information of the summer offer, have you heard anything about the next one?

If I had to guess, I would say the next offer will come out when the booking window for this one closes. So, maybe on 6/17/13?

Boy, it would stink if we have to wait that long to know if they're going to offer free dining in September!

Won't be that long. Around the end of April and visa holders get a few days notice, usually on a Thursday. We will say around April 25th. The summer and late summer offers have typically crossed in terms of offering, rather than one ending before the other began.

Hi -- I was wondering - I'm waiting as well for a late summer discount. I wanted to make reservations now with tickets. If I do that would I be able to apply the discount to the reservation? Do they consider room with tickets a package? I'm so confused. Thank you.

Yes a room with tickets is a package and you can add a discount to an already existing reservation.

I'm in the same boat. We want to go around that date too. The Visa Card offer is 30% off room only, but it ends on the 14th. I'm hoping for free dining, but it may be awhile before we get any word on that.

Considering that the BB that was offered last August for this August starts on 8/18, I don't think you'll see a GP FD offer to start on the same date, in fact, historically, the GP FD date has started about a week later. There's already been a rumor from someone who's got inside info. on another thread that this year's FD should start somewhere around 8/24. If you don't get FD, I do hope you at least get a room only discount...good luck !

I am going to DW thru August 16 and wasn't able to get the discount for the last night and we have a package with tickets, the CM said when the new discount comes out just call and ask for it to be applied to your last night. I asked if that would mess anything up and she said no they do it all the time. I hope this is true!
