Late Summer/Early Fall Incentives

Does a second direct contract give you some booking magic from Disney? I.e. I have a waitlist for august that has not hit, could they help me out?
Yes any new direct purchases you qualify for a welcome home stay. The only caveat is you can only use the points for the booking from the newly purchased contract.

Quick thought, would you guys recommend splitting 150 points into 2 contracts of 75 or 3 contracts of 50?
Is it your first contract or an add-on? They didn’t let me split my first 150 but they let me split the remaining 100 into a separate contract. But I have heard vastly inconsistent answers from others. That seems to be a theme. If it’s an add on in my opinion 75 is a sweet spot.

It depends if you have 2 or 3 kids. I think 75 may be the sweet spot if you only have 1 or 2 kids. I know as a buyer looking at contracts closing costs to buy a 50 add on resale just add up too much per contract point.

Keep in mind you also pay an extra document fee of about $250 for each additional contract, so it does add a bit more the further you divide points up. If evening things to hand down to family/friends though, it may still be worth it.

I sent a screenshot of my d23 profile page. No questions asked.

Same for me - $500 discount applied no questions asked. Besides, what if you can’t find your membership card or coupons? They really gonna deny you?

This is the best price ever on CFW. I know I’m the only crazy one here that’s gonna buy it, but I’m pretty stoked about it.

Do you all think I can just apply to the Disney Visa card tomorrow and immediately be eligible for the additional savings? It’s the Disney premier Visa card right?

You can apply for the card right away, but it took almost a week to get my card in the mail. I think you likely could get the card information before that if you need it. I set up my preferences on Chase for the card before I got it. I can't remember if it showed up in my Disney account right away, though.

If money was the only criteria we used for vacation decisions we would all be staying at a motel 6 next to a Chuck E Cheese

Buy it , enjoy it - the cabins are a huge part of my Disney memories.

When I used the Disney Visa incentive last year, he just needed proof I had been approved. Honestly I can't even remember if I sent any proof or if he could just tell on their systems. I definitely didn't wait for the physical card to arrive.

I applied for the no annual fee version.

Probably a stupid new person question but what is the difference in Premium, Preferred and Standard? I don’t recall our guide explaining this when we talked a few weeks back.
Is this for poly rooms? It is the view. Std. Is most likely parking lot, preferred is provably pool and premium is foreworks view

If I go for 150 points add-on to my 200 resale RIV, I’m pretty sure I’ll split into 50 point contracts. 50 points resale RIV on the resale market get scooped up within a day and they can command much higher prices. Not saying I plan to sell, but I always have an exit strategy.

50 points X $110 (average resale selling price of higher contracts) = $5500
50 points X $150 (selling price I believe you could get for 50 points) = $7500

Someone wanting to add on to RIV is likely ok with the extra $2k above average. Especially if they already have enough direct points.

For me as the original buyer: $150pp resale is not a huge loss if direct is around ~$187pp.

Question: say I were to buy now for an October use year, would I be able to use magical beginnings immediately, then get my new points drop October 2025?
