has anyone ever had trouble getting late seating? i think dh and i would be disappointed if we got early seating b/c we like that early evening time together to relax, not rush for dinner. when would we request the late seating? and when will we know if that's what we get?
thanks!

You should have no problem confirming late seating at the time you book your cruise.

On the other hand, not everyone who wants early seating is successful.

I prefer late seating too. (But keep in mind that late seating equals early show.)

Hello Sister Scoop Disney,

If you are travelling without children, I find that Disney tends to put you in the late seating (especially if you have requested it). On our last three cruises, my family has been assigned the late seating (and the youngest we've ever had was 15).

Plus, if you were, by some strange fluke, assigned to the early seating, you can ask for a transfer when you get on the ship (which is when you find out your seating anyways). Since there are normally a few people with children trying to get the early seating, I'm sure you'd have no trouble switching.

Hope this helps :)

Your seating time will be in the document package that you receive about a month before your cruise. You won't learn your seating rotation until you get your KTTW card when you check in.

Its not late seating thats hard to get. Early seating is the one that can sometimes be a problem. We asked for it on our last cruise and weren't successful. This time it wasnt a problem because we booked so early but, now I am thinking I might switch to late, it worked out pretty well for us last time.
