I am doing Land and Sea, staying at CBR and will be going to AK on Sunday morning before catching the bus to get to port. If I have late seating, do you think that I will have my luggage delivered to my room in time for me to get ready for dinner?

Thanks!

It is rare that luggage is not delivered in time to primp for early seating but I have not heard of anyone not having luggage in time to get ready for late dinner. You should be fine.

I agree..Sometimes, with early it may happen. Happened to me, mine was at another door, I found it myself..With late, you should have more than enough time to receive it, put it away, and iron, if need be.. :goodvibes

Thanks!

I am doing the Land & Sea too in November, and I'm also planning on doing AK before catching the bus. I would love to hear how yours turned out when you get back.

The night before you are to sail you will recieve a "reminder call" at around 6 o'clock telling you to leave your bags outside your door between 7 and 8. Pack a carryon and bring it with to AK. Usually the last of the luggage was delivered just after the life boat drill. On our last 4 all of the luggage was there when we returned from the sailaway party......Remember if you go to AK you will be one of the last to board the ship.....

I know, we are going to be at the ship late, but my hubby wants to take the bus. I think he rather leave his car at the hotel then the port. This is why I'm really hoping that they make it where we can make reservations for Palo ahead of time.

Book the Romantic Escape at sea and you can book palo in advance.....Hey, just noticed.....we'll be sailing at the same time, only us on the Magic and you on the Wonder.

Oh that's neat. Think about me on your sister ship. It's our anniversary on November 25th on the ship. Maybe that romance packet would be nice. How soon should you book that?

Okay another question. Sorry I already sent the other reply. If we are stuck on a bus all afternoon, does this mean we may not eat until dinner? I hear stories of people getting to the ship late. What we want to do at AK is the Lion King show, should we book a late breakfast after this. Is there time to go to this show and then grab something to eat before we take the bus?

We did NOT get all of our luggage before dinner, and we had late seating. But we got to the ship late, and had our luggage with us. You probably have a better chance since you are sending it from a Disney resort the night befoe.

I was really glad that I had packed our dinner clothes in our carry on.

Thanks!

We did the exact same thing last summer. We got to the ship and through security shortly after 2pm. I don't think we got our luggage until after the lifeboat drill, but we had early seating and still had time to change before dinner.
Have fun!

We got on board a little after 2pm when we took the bus from AK. The buffet was still open. We had eaten breakfast before we went to AK so we were pretty hungry by the time we got to the ship. DH had gotten a big turkey leg at a stand in AK (he did share a little). The kids and I had some popcorn as we were walking out, but I wish we had taken the time to get something a little more filling. I think that we tried to do too much befoe we left the park. We did the Lion King show (excellent), the Safari (very good too ) and Bug's Life show (didn't really like too well and it scared DS 6 to death). If we had skipped Bug's Life, that would have given us time to get a bite to eat and be a little more relaxed getting to the busses. Have a great trip!!!!
