Sorry if this question has already been answered a thousand times before this but we made a reservation for Surf's Up Mickey for our upcoming July trip at 10:45 but I'm wondering that if it's so late in the morning will all the characters still be around to meet? And will we be rushed to get out? The reason for the late reservation is because I am going with my younger nephews and we don't know what time they will be up and ready to go. But one nephew is dying to meet Stitch and I just want to make sure the characters will still be around at that time. I have never done a character meal so late so any info is welcome! Thanks in advance!

My 2 cents is make your reservation earlier and make your late nephews get up earlier. I don't care for standing around, waiting for late birds, while my kids are climbing the walls, missing out on prime opportunities for joy. I show the breakfast ends at 10:30 and I am not a fan of the food during the last half hour of a buffet. I looks like you run the risk of not having good food AND a shortage of characters.

This is based on my experience with my brother and his inability to get his family to a meal or show on-time. I would shoot for a 9:00 meal and have them join you late, inside the restaurant if they allow late joiners, if they can't be on-time.

Sorry to be harsh but I have missed reservations/shows/rides/fun waiting... and I don't anymore. I eat/ride/play and allow them to suffer the consequence of their actions. I just text them where I will be.

We've done reservations for the last seating for breakfast with Minnie at the Plaza Inn. We were spending the morning in the park and wanted to hit rides first thing without "wasting time" at a character breakfast. We arrived 20 minutes early and were seated right away. The food was fine, we weren't rushed and I doubt we missed out on any characters. If anything the characters seemed to spend extra time with our girls.

Enjoy your breakfast! :)
