Hi guys,

Apologies in advance if this has been posted before, but I can't seem to find the exact answer anywhere online.

We have a Friday night reservation at Be Our Guest for 8:20pm in September. I noticed that the Magic Kingdom closes at 9pm that night, and I read somewhere that BOG closes at 9:30pm.

Would this mean that last reservations are at 9:30pm, or that the restaurant is cleared out at 9:30? We like to take our time over dinner, and a couple of years ago when we went we were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time, so we are a little worried that we'll be having a really rushed dinner.

Could anyone tell me if this is the case or have any experiences of this they can share?

Thank you very much. :)

Safe to assume that your reservation is September 8th? If so, BoG closes at 8:30 (for reservations) that night, and you will not be rushed.

All other Friday nights in September (1, 15, 22, 29) are MNSSH party nights, and a party ticket will be required to dine at BoG after 6pm.

Disney does not rush you out of restaurants or parks for that matter.
I have often had late dinner ADR's and have absolutely never felt rushed.

No rushing one bit. I had a reservation just like yours with an early MK closing and it was very relaxed. A perk too is that it's cool being past park closing and walking in a nearly empty park :)

Thanks everyone, were a bit worried that the restaurant might 'close' soon after we arrive and we'd be rushed to finish our meal. But that's great to know, thanks :thumbsup2

I have had late reservations at many disney restaurants and they will NOT rush you out. Do not worry

You wont be rushed at all but you will find yourself sitting in a mostly empty restaurant towards the end. Make sure you see the beast early in your meal or before.

Do they allow you to see the beast before your meal is over now? In the past, you couldn't go see the beast until after your meal.

When its that late (we've closed it down twice in the last couple years during MNSSHP) they do like last call. He'll be finished before youre meal I bet. We missed him one year and walked up at the very end last. By the end, kids are just running around or sleeping : ) servers are doing their side work and no one seems to care when you see the beast. I have never been earlier so it's also Ive experienced but it was pretty loose.
