Our flight gets in at 11:30pm. We'll probably be hungry but everything will be closed at Pop Century by the time we get there. Is there anything open in the airport that late?

I wouldn't expect much at all to be open at that time of night. You might want to pack a snack or buy food on the flight.

You could pack sandwiches to bring on the plane, or buy food before you leave on the flight to bring along to eat on plane or after. You could also pack a few snacks in your suitcase(if you are not getting a food delivery at the resort) like pretzels, granola bars, etc for a quick late night snack if you eat at departure airport.

Unless something has changed in the last year I don't think anything will be open, I had an extremely delayed flight leaving Orlando last year and I couldn't even find a bottle of water past 1030 either bring food with you or buy at your departure airport

Do you have a connecting flight to Orlando? If so, is there time available to grab a quick bite to eat at the connecting airport?

I've found that you really have a limited selection at airports early in the morning or late at night.

Eat as you travel. Bring food, buy at the airport before you leave, or buy food on the plane. If you're on Alaska or united they have very nice tapas boxes. I think delta does too.

I wouldn't count on it; we have had very bad luck with anything being open much past 10.

Pack stuff in your bags (sandwiches/chips/fruit), or if connecting somewhere, grab something there.

Ooh, also, some airlines sell those all in one adult lunchables. I am not big on them because I am not big on pre-packaged chow, but my kids love them! Crackers, meat sticks, hummus, etc.

Here is what we were offered on our most recent flight:

Morning Flights — Hot breakfast sandwiches
  • Afternoon & Evening Flights — Cheeseburgers featuring Lions Tap "Famous Seasoning"

Domestic Flights: Organic Living Superfoods Dried Mango Slices (Vegan), assorted cheeses, crackers, Nature Valley Chewy granola bar, Ocean Spray® cherry juice infused Craisins®, and one bag of pretzel crisps.

Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP® Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn, Cheetos®, Famous Amos® Bite Size Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pringles® Original and Sour Cream Flavor, Gardetto’s® Original Recipe Snack Mix, Jack Link’s® Beef Jerky Teriyaki, Sisters’ Mezze Red Pepper Hummus with Sea Salt Crisps, Sisters’ Mezze Jalapeno-Cilantro Hummus with Sea Salt Crisps, Organic Living "Superfoods Organic/Raw Dried Mango Slices and Organic/Raw Dark Chocolate Coconut Chunks Snack

You could also place a garden grocer order and have food when you arrive at the pop.... if you'll need stuff during the week anyway

Best Plan A is to have food with you and eat it on the flight. I don't know how long your flight is, but I do this often; I pre-order from my favorite deli and pick it up on the way to the airport. If you tell them you are taking the food on a flight and ask for the condiments to be packed separately in packets, you can put the packets in your 3-1-1 baggie and apply the condiments yourselves to avoid soggy sandwiches. Soup is a no-go, but sandwiches and salads are easy to carry on. I have a small folding cooler bag just for this purpose, and I put some ziplocs in it so that I can get ice airside at my departure airport to keep things cool. (You can also bring frozen grapes as a cooling agent if you prefer.)

Plan B for us would be ordering a pizza en route to Pop; time it for your expected check in time and one of you can wait for it to be delivered to the Pop lobby. The number for Flippers Pizza at Crossroads is 407-938-9633. They are open until midnight Sun-Thur and until 1 am on Fri-Sat. They also have online ordering at http://flippers.intouchposonline.com/start_order/?sid=9&orderType=DELIVERY

This is what I usually do, however it bit me in the rear last time. I was staying at CSR and they refused to deliver my food when I arrived after midnight. Well, they said they would bring it up within an hour. But they didn't. And when I called back they told me it would be at least another 45 minutes (it was already after 1 am) because they were so behind with luggage delivery.

So from my experience you can't always depend on getting your Garden Grocer order that late either. I would definitely pack something along or go the pizza route.
