We might be driving down for a last-minute trip tonight, staying until Sunday. I just called and there are apparently plenty of rooms available at all 3 Disney Hotels.

If we get there around 1 am, would we have any chance at negotiating a lower price since we're only using the room for few hours that first night/morning?

Or, since we are technically checking in on the 21st, any way we could just book the room for 1 night, the 21st, checking out on the 22nd, and then getting into our room early since it's available? If we checked in at 8 am for a 1 night stay on the 21st and the room was ready, they would let us use it, right?

Just trying to save a little money. Thanks everyone!

Not sure when they change the rates, but I would think 1am would be a late arrival vs early.

We did drive all night once and checked in at 530am. Room was ready and we were able to sleep before hitting the parks.

This may be too late since you were going tonight, but check-in is at 4pm. So I would think that would just be a late check-in. I'd call and ask if they discount the room at all. You could always sleep at a good neighbor motel that first night and then move to a disney hotel when you check out. We went last August and got to Grand Californian at about 10:30 or 11 am and checked-in. They called us when our room was ready, which was around 3 pm, later that day.

Let us know what happens!

So, we ended up getting there at 2:30 am and they had a room available, so we only paid for Saturday night. I didn't think to ask what time would be the cutoff, but 2:30 worked. You are gambling that they will have an empty room from the night before though. We got about 4 hours of sleep before we hit the parks, so I sort of feel like we got 2 nights for the price of one! Thanks.

Earliest I've ever checked in was 530 am ato DLH. They usually check your bags, take your cell phone number, and text you when your room is ready. Even if they have empty rooms, they typically won't let you go in until around 10am. Awesome that you can get in earlier.

Congratulations! I think you really scored and had a little Disney Magic!
