Late May?

Well be staying at BCV for the first time (mom is the DVC owner there) the last week in May - 23-29th. The day we check out is the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. I'm sure that Friday will be busy but what do you think about the week leading up to it. Seems I've gone at busy times at WDW the last two times and I'm hoping it won't be THAT bad..... anyone with any info for that time?

My guess is that it will grow busier each day you're there. I would do the biggest attractions at the busiest parks first. Then you can back-track and catch up on the lighter stuff later on. If I'm wrong, you haven't lost much other than the inconvenience of park hopping.

I'll be there May 22-29th, and I've been asking how the crowds will be. Most people say that the crowds will be very manageable until Friday of Memorial Weekend. We plan to be done with the parks by then. We'll do them Sunday through Thursday.

Good Luck. I hear that the weather will be hot too! But coming from Buffalo, we won't be complaining!

Last year we checked in on the Sunday before Memorial Day, and first park day was on Memorial Day at Epcot. Really not bad-DS and DH rode MS 3X that week and never used FP. 20 minute wait or so. DS did RnR 3X in a row without FP, also went over to ToT. Never needed FP all week. Nothing seemed terribly busy, but then we were at OKW, which is so big, it absorbs crowds pretty well. Come to think of it, quiet pool was pretty busy though. This year we're going 5/23-5/29, and when I called to book that last night (had originally planned to leave 5/28), CM wasn't sure of availability-"We're really going to be packed-that's Memorial Day Weekend!" Hope it's not too bad.

We usually go this week every year, there will be crowds and they will build the closer to the week-end you get, we always take advantage of EMH and are ready to leave the Parks about 1:30p.m. Go back to the Villa have a swim then go back to the Parks later in the day when the crowds start thinning out.
