Hi everyone! :)

I'm a newbie here and am going in April 2008. I did get an ADR for lunch at Cinderella's Castle at...2:45 pm!

I know I'm lucky to get that but I am concerned about the time. They only do lunch till 3 and will there by any Cinderella around at all? Will we be caught in the changing of the dining?

Anybody experience this? Was it a big dissapointment because you were at the tail end of lunch and the changeover for dinner?

My other question is: the CM who made my reservations tole me that you meet Cindy first for pics (I knew that part) and that any other characters stand in the middle of the room and people go to them for interaction/pics/autographs/hugs they don't go from table to table. Is that right? Sounds odd-how does it work?

Thank you all in advance very much-Can't wait to go!!!!:goodvibes

Welcome!

Congrats on getting your ADR. We had a late ADR at Chef Mickey's for breakfast and had a fantastic time. Plenty of food, hot, fresh. Fun, fun, fun characters with plenty of interaction.

Don't worry about your late seating at CRT, Disney will take good care of you and it may be to your advantage with the characters if the restaurant is emptying out. I would suggest you have a light snack before noon though. We had a 2pm lunch ADR and were starved by 1pm. We showed for our ADR early and they seated us. We devoured the bread right away and everything else they put in front of us. :guilty: The castle probably calls for a bit more decorum. :rotfl2: :rolleyes1

We had 230 ressies and it was perfect. The princesses did come around to the table though. They came out when the bell rang and all stood in a line and then they made their way around the tables. :goodvibes

Disney doesn't rush anyone when the change is made from lunch to dinner or breakfast to lunch. Probably the only thing that you will notice is that you have a lunch menu and the people that come in when dinner starts will have a dinner menu. Don't worry about it at all.

Thanks everyone! I feel better now, I just pictured this mad rush by the staff to set up for dinner or having Cindy be on her break or the princesses sitting down and rubbing their feet while we scarfed down food!
Just kidding (sort of). Thanks so much again!
