late june/early july crowd levels

Can anyone tell me how bad the crowds are at the end of june/early july time frame at disney? I just don't know if i can wait all the way until next october to take my next trip to disney and I would likely not get vacation during the spring break time frame from work. Just wondering if anyone could lend some insight on this. Thanks for your help!

I'd say very crowded. Not extremely crowded like Christmas or Easter...but longer wait times (40 min to 1 hour +) and lots of hot, sweaty people.

We were there in June (13-18) this year and it was a little much for me (especially AK). It's doable...but if I could wait til October, I would. I will say that the water parks (we went to BB) were very refreshing...we all had a great time there.

Our summer trip is planned for May...the week *before* Memorial Day weekend. I'm hoping the crowds will be better. We'll see!

Yup Katie hit it right on the head. It's our families time to vacation @ WDW. We don't even venture into a park on the 4th.

I think she hit everything correctly. But with planning, use of fastpass and weeding out the rides you don't have to do. It can be done.

We'll be there again next too.

First half of June is crowded but not extreme. Crowds quickly build to summer level in last half, significantly less than Christmas or Easter weeks but significantly heavier than most spring break weeks and Thanksgiving. All of June is significantly more crowded than October. Look at this way, on June 8 longest lines at MK will usually be an hour or less, on June 20 they will be 90 minutes for the most popular rides during much of the day.

At the end of June into early July you get the July 4 holiday crowd which for several days approaches the size of those at Christmas or Easter weeks -- 2 hour lines or longer at popular MK rides most of the day and night.

In June and July the waterparks are very crowded everyday and often reach capacity.
