I looked for the answer but haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know what happens if you are late for a ADR? I have a FP+ scheduled really close to an ADR in another park and I'm not sure we will make it on time.

Depending on the restaurant, how busy it is, and how late you are a number of things could happen. They might:

1) Hold your ADR for a period of time (usually 15-20 mins) and then consider you a no show.

2) Hold your ADR no matter how late you are and still seat you.

3) Consider you a no show as soon as the time comes around.

With the CC hold, I would not risk being late to an ADR. You are also supposed to check in about 15 minutes before your ADR so take that into account as well.

Having had the unfortunate experience of being late for an ADR and almost being shut out, I found that calling the restaurant can make a BIG difference in how your lateness gets treated. As LilyWDW said, different restaurants also act differently. I'd probably reschedule either the ADR or the FP+, especially if they are in different parks.

Thanks so much for your replies! I think I'd better reschedule then.

We were a half hour late for our BOG dinner reservation in early December. :( Circumstances beyond our control... A cabbie who decided that he knew best - who only heard MK when I said I wanted to go to CR (so we could walk over to the MK gates) he took us to the TTC. At that point we were still early enough, so we hopped on the MK monorail - which broke down just shy of the MK station. On a MVMCP night! delayed 15/20 minutes as the monorail repeatedly rebooted its onboard computer. That & the party crowds - we were late. I could have cried as we ran through the MK.. But.. When we got to the check in at the bridge - we were calmed & reassured by the CM at the podium. he checked us in & gave us our pager, we were seated within 15 or so minutes. Call it whatever you'd like... But pixie dust was on our side - I'm sure of it! ;)
