Late flight home

On our final day our flight doesn't leave until 7:30 pm. What time do you think the ME will be picking us up? Also any suggestions on how to spend that day since we will have to check out of the hotel in the a.m?

Hi,

ME will pick you up somewhere between 4:30 and 4:45, but you will need to be at the bus stop fifteen minutes prior to pickup time.

You have a full day at WDW that day! Why not go to a park or a water park? If you're trying to save money on park tickets, hang around the pool, visit Downtown Disney, or do some resort-hopping!

When you check out, leave your luggage with bell services, OR if you are flying with a participating airline, you can check your luggage right at the resort and they will get them to the airport for you. Then, go off and enjoy yourself as mentioned above and be back to your resort around 4:00.

Just keep in mind if you check your luggage for the airline at your resort, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO GAIN ACCESS TO IT BEFORE YOU GET HOME. So you may want to keep a piece or two as a carry on or to check at the airport with the just in case we need a change of clothes or whatever you do not want to have in your checked luggage. That piece(s) should be left w/ bell services for pick up before boarding Magical Express. I would keep in mind that you will need the time to retrieve your luggage. But in MY experience being at the bus stop earlier than say 5 min is a joke. We've used ME 4x now, and our pick up bus has ALWAYS been late, usually only by 5 min or so. But we have never had an early bus. Once our bus was 30+ minutes late and it was a pain having to stand there and wait like that. Otherwise I have enjoyed using ME. We stay at POP and they always drop off there first (or at least, that is our experience). Have a wonderful trip!

My MIL always uses ME and this past December had a 745pm flight home, she said they were supposed to be waiting by 415p, with a 430pm pickup at the resort and their ME bus never showed up. She was stranded with 15 other people and they had to call for a another bus to accomodate their travel to the airport. Apparently a bus showed up at 5pm but could not accomodate that many people, so she said she got on the ME bus by 520pm, and off to MCo she went. She said by the time they got to MCo and got the bags and checked in she had a few minutes to shop and headed for their gate.

She said in the past they have been maybe 10-15 minutes late and this was the first time she ever experienced a major delay.
