Late Family joing our Reservation

Just wanted some input from all the experts on the Dis. Will be staying Jersey weekend at SSR. My family of 5 will be down on Wed. night, and will be using ME and buying the dining plan. My sister and her boyfriend will be joining us in our 2 bedroom SSR Villa on Thurs. evening.
Question # 1: Can I and should I add them to my reservation if they are coming to stay with us a full night later, which would be two days later.
Question #2: If I add them can they get ME, even though they have different flights and arriving date as myself?
Question # 3: If I add them will that screw up my Disney Dining Plan, or will they have to pay for the dining plan for the 2 days they are not there?
I am thinking aboout not adding them to the reservation and letting them use their own transport from the airport and pay cash instead of Disney Dining Plan.
I want to follow DVC rules, but don't think they need the meal plan after missing 2 full days of our stay. If I don't add them, I am not concerned about them paying for cab from airport, as their stay is on me anyway. Just wanted some guidance from those that may know. Thanks for the suggestions.

You should add them to your ressie, otherwise they can not get room keys and can not use Early Entry or Late Nght days in the parks.

Yes, if you add them, they can use ME even if they are arriving later.

Yes, you will need to pay for their meal plan for all the days of the ressie, whether they are there or not.

But you could use the extra credits any way you choose - perhaps for a nice 2 TS dinner at one of the signature restaurants.

Since the trip is on you, maybe they'd do something with your kids one evening while you and your DH have a nice romantic dinner just for you. (That's what I'd do - worth it, IMHO)!

Just wanted to add that the DDP goes by nights, not days. So if your sister & her boyfriend come on Thursday and leave the same day as the rest of you, you will only be paying for one extra night of Dining.

So that would be an extra $75.98 total if you got the Dining Plan for everyone staying in the 2 bedroom. Again, I'd be willing to pay that much extra to have a special dinner for 2 at Jiko or Flying Fish or Californaia Grill, etc.

You can use the dining credits any way you choose, you do not have to do 1 TS, 1CS and 1 Snack each day.
