The last time I was at Universal (2019) we checked in late to Portofino Bay (around midnight) but I recall we had to visit the Guest Relations/Ticketing desk the next morning to get our park tickets and express passes. Which in retrospect seemed weird because I vaguely recall our room keys functioned as our expresses passes? Either way, I clearly remember the hotel staff said we had to visit the guest relations/ticket desk in the morning to activate everything. We were sleeping in so timing wasn't a big deal.
I'm planning a trip for next spring and will likely be checking in late to Portofino Bay again but hoping to be up and at 'em the next morning for the early park hour. Does anyone know how to quickly pick up/activate our park tickets and express passes? I'm not sure when that desk opens at the resort - or are there automated machines that can handle this? Should we be going to the park windows for this? Or are these all virtual/electronic tickets now and not physical media?
