We are going to Disney in October for my daughter's 4th birthday. It will be 3 weeks after her actual birthday, but there were issues preventing us from going on the actual day. Is it ok for me to have her wear a button celebrating her birthday, or should I just stick with the celebrating our 1st visit? My niece is also coming with us, and her 6th birthday is 3 weeks later! So we are smack in the middle.

Celebrate both birthdays if you want to. Disney won't mind. Enjoy!

We fly home 28th August this year, and my birthday is 1st September, so I'll celebrate that for the last couple of days (the new school year starts on my birthday so I have to be back at work).

When I asked at City Hall I was informed that as long as the actual date is between 6 months before to 6 months after your visit, guests are welcome to celebrate.

I thought that was a rather clever way to say celebrate when ever you want to! Our visit was in between 3 birthdays. We picked up Birthday buttons and wore them the day we had dinner at CRT. With dessert they brought cupcakes out for all the kiddos that were celebrating "birthdays" and our server sang to them. It was very sweet!

My folks have birthdays in the same week. Butch celebrated and wore his pin the first half of the trip, which started the day after his actual birthday, and Ms Lady wore hers the second half, which actually covered her birthday. The next trip, we were there on his and not hers. Split the stay, pick a night for each gal, or celebrate all week -- do whatever makes you and the girls happy!

My birthday is late May, but we won't be at WDW until June 3rd. When I spoke with a CM, she said Disney celebrates birthdays for a whole month, so she noted that we're celebrating my birthday on our upcoming trip. We're also celebrating my older DD's graduation from college too! My sister's family (who will be traveling with us) will be on their first trip, celebrating their younger DD's high school graduation, and their wedding anniversary.

As a side note, I didn't realize Disney celebrates birthdays 6 months before and 6 months after! :mickeyjum

Celebrate both girls' birthdays! My nephew has an April birthday and it seemed like we were at DW on his birthday quite a few times. His younger sister, with a late January birthday, was going to feel left out (I felt), so we got both of them Birthday buttons. I think my niece enjoyed the attention more than her brother. My birthday is next Monday, but DH is taking me for my birthday trip on 5/20. You can bet I'm celebrating!

Don't worry! Last year a trip to disney was my 21st birthday gift (which is in February), but due to school I ended up not going until the following May! I still wore a button! Anytime someone would ask me when my birthday was/is, I would tell them and my boyfriend would just reply with "we're celebrating her birthday all year." :thumbsup2

:yay:Cool. Our 29th wedding anniversary is 3/12/2017. We are going to WDW Feb 10-18, 2017 to beat the spring break crowds. We can celebrate :yay::woohoo:
