Late Disneymoon, does it count?

That is awesome news!! Tell me your secrets! How did you get free dining?! I was waiting to book bc Disney usually releases free dining packages in Aug or Sept...but I would book now if I could get the same deal!
Can't wait to hear about the new plans!

Free dining was released today for disney visa holders and may 7th for general public apparently, http://www.****************/news-di...il&utm_term=0_585957dd1b-1131dc69af-305229333

Congrats on getting Free Dining. (My hubby was on the phone for a client for 2 hours to do this as well...so worth it for you)

YOU WILL LOVE WILDERNESS DURING THIS TIME!!! Check out their beautiful tree (this is from our trip over Christmas this year)

The whole place felt homey and just right for a winter trip to Disney. Asyour first trip/Disneymoon/Holiday you will just love every inch of it. The boat over to MK is so convenient and relaxing as well.

Joining in for the rest and the fun of planning.

Remember that CRT and Hoop dee are 2 table service meals so you would end up with some out of pocket expense if eating a table service everyday

I know! That why I'm know considering upgrading to the deluxe plan, but my math is horrible lol. I still can't decide :(

We did deluxe for our last trip and it was wonderful...it is a lot of eating BUT
---you get 3 meals 2 snacks daily with Deluxe
---snacks pack into carry-ons as a easy survivor if you do not use them all
---Eating at double credit meals is a lot of fun and there are several of them to select form that are so worth the cost in my opinion
---if you like a sit down emal to take the rest it is a great way to go.

Your ADR/ dining plan sounds awesome! I wish I could be more help here, but I haven't eaten at most of those places nor have I ever gotten the deluxe dining plan!

I CAN comment on the SciFi Diner, since I've been there several times. It's awesome. You will love it! Even if you hate the food (which would be hard since it's really good), the atmosphere more than makes up for it. If you like milkshakes, I'd highly recommend them at SciFi, and my mom loves the Cherry Coke there because she says it tastes like the ones that she used to mix up when she worked at a drive-in way back when.

I really, really want to eat at several of the restaurants that you've picked out, including Raglan Road and Beaches and Cream. I just might have to check those out when I'm wandering around by myself when I go to Disney in June (surprise!! My PTR now has a bonus PTR!!). :woohoo:

Just bought our MVMCP tickets for dec 16th! Yes I just can't resist although I should have waited for dec hours to be released! I know I wanted to go on a tues as it's the least crowded according to my research and we ll only be there one tues lol.

You have some great ADRs on your list! :)

We did upgrade to DxDP - it really came out to only about a ~$50 savings but it's worth it to us to have all of our dining paid for before we arrive. Most days, we're doing a 1 credit TS for breakfast or lunch & a 2 credit Signature or package for dinner. Just remember to use the figures for what you'd actually eat to figure out whether or not you'd save money. If you would never order dessert, don't figure the cost of dessert into your calculations.

Here's a calculator tool you can use: http://www.distripplanner.com/

Mvmcp tickets just arrived! Makes me super excited. Since dec hours are released today, I ve been stalking easywdw for the crowd calendars to determine my park days. Should we not do EMH? I heard crowds are worst during EMH but I want more time lol

Would it be weird if we get the honeymoon button and just married or honeymoon ears since we're technically not just married lol. Suggestions?

Following along! I'm 26 and DBF is 24 :) It is very refreshing to find a couple close to our age visiting the world. Sometimes we feel alone in the sea of families!

First, I find that EMH hours are best early in the morning as a lot of people don't make it to rope drop. On the other hand, EMH evenings seem a little crowded to me.

Second, I don't think it would be weird at all to wear anything of the honeymoon or just married items! We are visiting after my birthday but still putting that's it my birthday. We don't get to visit WDW a lot & that is our most recent celebration, so why not?!

Welcome!! I'm so glad you're here! Love to have more couples our age too :) now we can share plans that will apply to both of us :cheer2:

I totally agree, I don't think it would be strange for you to wear the buttons at all!!

We are ones that love EMH. As far as the crowds are concerned, everyone will tell you something different. I don't mind going because I always feel like it is less crowded with EMH. But you do have to keep in mind that most people that come to EMH will want to do the more popular attractions. So, what we do is get fastpasses during the day for the popular ones, then during EMH everyone is trying to ride those so we do the rest with small wait times.

It is really a personal preference kind of thing, you just have to prioritize the things you want to do, if you are using EMH for super high traffic attractions, then you may not get as much bang for your time buck so to speak, than if you used EMH for the less popular ones.

Your ADRs sounds great! That is one of my favorite things about planning trips! I loved making Dining reservations...LOL Narcoosee's is a great restaurant, and their outside porch has great views of Wishes and the Electrical Water Parade, so if you can try to make your times around those things! They even have window seats there you could request if you didn't want to go outside!

We ordered our MVMCP tickets, and I am patiently awaiting them in the mail!! We did get our MNSSHP tickets yesterday though, we must have ordered them the same day...they day they were released right...haha!

Southwest flights for December is finally out! Booked my flights today for $126 each way per person, arriving at 8 30 am, and leaving orlando at 7 30 pm. I'm kinda bummed there isn't a 9 30 pm one like most Mondays seem to have when I checked for other months :(

We usually attend evening EMH. Yes sometimes it can be crowded but it really depends on the time of EMH. For example sometimes the evening EMH for MK have the park open until 2 am. Clearly on his kind of EMH time families will be long gone and the crowds will be a lot less than during the early evening. It also just depends on the crowd that is there during the same time as you. I always do EMH because I love seeing the parks all lit up and taking my time to exit after the fireworks or late night parade.

I would suggest attending the evening one.

As for early morning ones, if you get there for them they can be great as you can hit the top attractions with a lot less wait time. Now with the fast pass+ system, hit up the early mornings and book your fast passes for sometime in the late morning/ afternoon when crowds will be heaviest. You can park hop to another park and use the fast passes there since you missed the early morning hours and will now be in crowds or you can stay at the current park and do the things u didn't in the AM or re ride the things you loved. I find morning EMH more crowded that the evening ones as families tend to get up early and head back to their hotels mid afternoon for naps and to cool off.

Just my opinion, but I'm sure everyone here has experienced something different as I really feel it depends on the crowd of ppl visiting at the same time as you.

Very cool on the party tickets - what fun times you are going to have.

You have to wear the button!!! It is just the best thing ever to have that extra magic!!

Button it is! I'm kinda afraid they will ask us for some sort of proof it's our honeymoon, how do I explain we are having such a belated one lol

Disney is ALL about helping people celebrate, no matter what the occasion, I don't think for a second they will ask for proof...that is just very un-Disney. If they ask, because I am sure they will congratulate you etc...just let them know it took a while to get a honeymoon but we finally made it or something...they will not care one bit, they will just be happy that you are spending your belated honeymoon with them!! Don't sweat it at all!!! pixiedust:
