Late dinner in WS and relying on buses

We are on the DxDDP and would prefer to have our dinner as late as possible. EPCOT closes at 9:00 while we are there so has anyone had a really late ADR? Also, if we were able to secure a late (say 8:30 or later) ADR what time do the resort buses stop running? I don't want to be stranded but could always take a taxi back...

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

Busses run for AT LEAST 1 1/2 hours after closing, usually longer. The waits for busses may increase the later it gets though.

Transportation runs until all Guests are out of the park. You likely won't be rushed at/out of dinner, but if you finish really late, like ten or so, don't be surprised if a friendly Cast Member accompanies you to the exit :)

Also, that late, the buses MAY go to more than one resort. Disney Transportation knows what it's doing.

A couple of other things to keep in mind are whether Epcot, or the Studios are having EMH. If the Studios is open later than Epcot, you can go to the Studios and catch a bus back to your resort from there. Obviously on the Epcot EMH nights, you will get a later bus as well. Personally, if I were in Epcot more than an hour after closing, and dining at a WS restaurant, I'd probably head over to the Epcot resorts area anyway, and just taxi from there, instead of walking all the way to the front of the park, only to find out that the buses have stopped for the night.

That's one of the bad things about the demise of PI - not having that hub of transportation available until the early morning hours makes it difficult for night owls to get around using Disney transport.

I will see what times I can get for my ADRs and take it from there. I like the idea of walking out the International Gateway and taking a taxi from one of those resorts instead of walking all the way out of an empty park. On an EMH evening I should be fine with the buses.

Thanks again!
Nicole
