Late dining at 'Ohana

I was only able to get a reservation for 9:25 pm on the date that I wanted. That's fine since we can adjust the times we eat that day, but I want to know if we'll feel rushed since they close at 10pm? That is quite a bit of money to drop if I am going to feel like we have to leave right after we sit down.

I think an hour and a half is enough time to leisurely enjoy our dinner. I am more worried about food quality and the servers making me feel rushed, not to turn over a table, but to close "on time". I don't want to feel like I have to woof down my food all at once or worse, have to try and hunt down the server with the skewers. Wondering how people who have dined after 9 feel about their experiences.

The restaurant stops seating at 10:00pm, it doesn’t close at 10:00pm. You will be fine. Enjoy.

I always get those late ADRs. Never had an issue feeling rushed by staff.

Well, first of all, the restaurant DOESN'T close at 10! So don't worry. People will be actually still sitting down until 10. I have, however, read many reviews of people feeling rushed at Ohana (regardless of the time of day).

I think you may find that you are LESS rushed than the people in those reviews from above- the reason being that there will be no one to 'turn your table over' to. You will be among the last diners to sit down, and there will/should be no one scheduled for that behind you. As they will still be seating people, even after you, I don't think you really have to worry about the food. I think you'll probably be fine with the service also- the server will probably working on some side work to prepare for closing, but nothing that should interfere with your experience at all! We ate there twice last June with times of 20:30 and 21:00 hours. One was the normal great meal and once they tried to rush us. I say tried because I just sent back anything we weren't ready for and in a very loud Marine voice told them to desist. Except for embarrassing the girls it was another fine meal.

We just had a wonderful, NON RUSHED experience with a late ADR, last week. Our original time was 9:15 but I kept checking and the day before, was able to change it to 8:50pm. We were sat at 8:55and walked out at 11:10. Food quality was great and service was also very good. Never felt like they were trying to get rid of us.
