late day 4th+ FP+ for Epcot

If we decide after being at MK in the morning that we want to go to Epcot in the evening, how hard is it to get FP for TT or Soarin'??

I am guessing we would leave MK around 2 and not head to Epcot until 6-ish

How is the best way to try? Would it be to have a CM help us before we even leave MK?

Slim chance, very slim. I couldn't get one when I went to Epcot on Dec 4, 2014 at 5pm. They only had Turtle Talk with Crush and Living with the Land and Mission Space available - those were the ones I've got written down in my notes.

Agreed that this is slim to none at around 6. Anything you can get a FP for at that time will likely be a walk on at that time at anything but peak season.

Agreed pretty hard to get. We couldn't get Test Track or Soarin for a 4th in the late afternoon in early January or early May(2014)

They can do single rider Test Track, it's at least usually much shorter then Standby.

Not likely for a group of 2, very unlikely for a group larger than 2. You would have to wait till you get to Epcot at 6 to try to get a 4th FP+ at a kiosk. You would need to be extremely lucky to happen to get someone's cancelled TT or Soarin FP. You could make a FP for Living with the Land, and then constantly check your phone for a cancelled Soarin or TT FP, but that would likely be a waste of time and phone battery.

We've always been able to go to concierge desk back at hotel in afternoon and have them book a Fp for us for epcot in the evening.

What about getting in line for Test Track or Soarin' during Illuminations? I would think the lines would be pretty light if everyone is watching the fireworks?

My husband and I were able to get a 4th FP for Test Track in January at about 4 in the afternoon. I don't know if it was because it was low crowds, there were only 2 of us, or sheer luck (or some combination of all 4). Soarin' was available, as well.
