Hi all, arriving late to ASMovies.. probably around 12pm or so.. Is there anywhere we can get something to eat??? Our flight time stinks and there is no way to get anything between plane changes. Tia.. Eileen

I'm confused. r u saying you're arriving 12AM??? i'm going to assume since 12 pm wouldn't be late :-). I think your best bet would be to grab a bite to eat at the airport b4 getting to the hotel. Or at least grabbing stuff to just put in your bag. I'm pretty sure by midnight, hte food service and gift shop are all closed.
Also, if you're driving yourselves from the airport you could pick up mcdonalds on the way to the hotel also.
Whatever you do, just focus on eating quickly and getting rested.

I agree with the previous poster who said you should just get something at the airport. Or if you are driving, stop along the way.

The food court closes at midnight as does the in-room pizza delivery. If you are taking Magical Express, about the only thing to do is pick up something at the airport to take along with you. Have one person get the food while the rest continue on to Magical Express to get checked in. You can google the Orando Airport for a listing of their available eateries.

If you are driving, the McDonald's right outside the All Star security gate has a 24 hour drive through available.

You could google pizza delivery for Kissimmee (try Flippers) and see if they deliver past midnight (Flippers very well might).

I will second the idea of Flippers if they will deliver after midnight. You could possible call them after checking into ME and maybe meet them in the "drive way" at the front since you won't know your room number when you call. That would also save some time of waiting for them to deliver after you get to your room, Good Luck !!

If you have a rental car, there is a McD's right down the road from the AS resorts, you can't miss it. It not, I'd say you'll have to grab something at the airport.

Everytime we are at MCO late, there is nothing open.

pirate: Hi again, yes, I figured that we were out of luck. We are taking ME and this will do us no good. I know where the Mcky D's is.. have stayed there before.. Well we will have to come up with some kinda plan.. family gets ugly when hungry.. Happy travels all... Eileen

Any chance you have a layover and could grab something in b/t flights at a decent dinner time?

I've always wondered why the food courts didn't stay open later. I know several times I've come back to the resort after PM EMH wanting something to eat and/or thirsty. I know they couldn't offer full service or even keep the grills open, but you would think they would have box luches or something. Just like a sandwich and chips. I would think you would only need to keep one person to check people out. That's just my opinion of course.

That has happened to us due to flight delays twice, and there is NOTHING. Nothing in the airport, and nothing at the resorts. I would suggest eating as much as you can at the departure airport, and putting Pop Tarts or granola bars or something in your carry-ons to hold you over until morning.
