Late Check-out??

Has anyone ever accomplished this at BLT?

We went from 1 bedroom theme park/parking lot/delivery truck into contempo view (point scam) for 4 nights into 1 bedroom lake view (perfect) and tomorrow we move again to VWL 1 bedroom.

Not intentional...as this is what was available.

Hate checking 11am out, holding bags etc... Nice to just move with late checkout into new place...

Late checkouts are not allowed with DVC. This rule is a courtesy to allow rooms to be cleaned and ready for checkins. Unlike most hotels, DVC units are always close to 100% full, so no unoccupied ones to allow for late checkouts. I understand your issue with the room switch. It is one of the reasons I REALLY dislike split stays!

It's not possible to late checkout in the DVC resorts. Units are near 100% occupancy rate all year. If they allow this, they could delay the checkin of the member who will occupy your room tonight.

There is no late checkout at any DVC resort. Except for a medical emergency.
Keep in mind someone is probably checking in after you and would like to get into there room as early as possible, you staying late would mean they don't get into their room till late, please be considerate of the next guest.

You can call bell services to have our bags transferred to VWL. Usually they don't do resort to resort transfers until late afternoon, so you will be without your bags for a while, but it beats trying to pack up and move them yourself.

I will plan better next year...don't like moving back to back days
