Late check-out question

I have an interesting situation. During my August trip I have to do some work on my computer on the day I check out. I probably wo'nt be done by 11:00am. My company is willing to pay for me to be able to stay in the room for a couple extra hours. Has anyone ever paid a "day rate" to be able to stay until 1:00 or 2:00?

If this isn't possible, does anyone know if I can use either one of teh business centers (It will be a Sunday) or Kinko's and plug in my lap top rather than use their equipment?

I don't believe they have any options for late checkout in the DVC but you might try one of the Business centers.

The policy now is no late checkouts at DVC resorts. If you won't be done, you could stay until they run you out or look for another place to work. Of course it never hurts to ask. I wouldn't be surprised if they gave you an extra hour if you explained the situation, 2 would be pushing it.

Sunday is the busiest day of the week at DVC. Even if allowed a late check out would not be fair to the resort or other guests. Another whole debate.
I'm sure there must be a place you could plug in for a while. I would call and ask. Maybe one of the resorts that is geared more for the business traveler, like one with the convention centers, could help. Good luck!
