My fiance and I are planning our disneymoon right now and we have a late flight on the day of our wedding. We will be arriving in Orlando around 9:30pm. I was in the process of booking online when I read that check-in was between 3 and 4 pm. Will Disney allow us to check-in this late if I just book online or should I call to make my reservation?

You can check in anytime. I prefer calling to make my reservations, they might have a special to offer you. Also, have them note any requests and tell them you'll be on your Disney/honeymoon.

Whichever way you book your trip I would still call the day of your departure and just let them know what time your flight is coming in which means you'll be arriving late. I have to do the same thing with my trip this year because I'm taking a later flight and am due to arrive at around 7:30 p.m.

We drive from TN to WDW, it takes about 12 hours. On our first trip in 2001, we arrived around midnight, we had no problems checking in late.

The last time we went to WDW, our flight from Calif got in around 10:30 pm. We actually stayed that nite at the hotel in the airport - Hyatt Regency Orlando. So close, all you have to do is claim your luggage and head for the elevator/escalator. They have 24 hr room service too.

The next morning we transferred to WDW, checked in, left our bags & hit the parks. Came back later to get room keys and check out the room.

It's a nice hotel with lots of extras. Even tho its your honeymoon (congrats !!), it would be nice for you to not have to rush off the the resort and deal with checkin.

Just a thought!

Congratulations!!

Several times we have checked in as late as midnight with no problems.

As long as you arrive before 6:00 a.m. the NEXT DAY, your room will be held for you. There is ABSOLUTELY NO NEED to call ahead and alert them. Go ahead and do it if it makes you feel better, but there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to do so other than to make yourself feel better.

It may be unusual for you to get in that late, but the front desk clerks see it hundreds of times each week. It's just standard business to them.

Oh, and by the way ... :welcome: :disrocks: party:

I've checked in as late as 11:00 p.m. a couple of times and everything went fine. The only problem with checking in late is that there is a chance you won't get a room in the village that you want, unless you paid for a preferred room. That happened to me once. I asked for Aruba at check in and nothing was available. They were able to switch me to Aruba the next day so it worked out fine. I'm checking into CBR this Saturday sometime around 9:30 p.m. and am keeping my fingers crossed for Aruba!
