Late check in at DVC Resort

This is our first trip "home" and we are driving so I am not sure what time I will arrive on check in day. I have it planned to arrive around 4pm, but you never know. Do I need to notify them I could be late or will they hold things just like a regular hotel? Thanks

IMO, it wouldn't hurt to call from the road if you still haven't arrived by 4pm. It seems like every time someone posts here that they arrived very late (we're talking like 10-11pm), they invariably end up with the worst room in the joint.

If you are going to be very late, I would definitely call ahead.

I don't think I would call if I was arriving before 9 or so. (I have arrived as late as 1 am without calling. Check in was a breeze, they had everything waiting on me in a little pile of "late arrivers" LOL!)
