Late Cape May ADR

We made ADR for Cape May for 8:30. They close at 9, will there still be fresh food at that time? Will they close the buffet at 9 and not put out anything else? Has anyone ate there this late? If so what was your experience?

We had a 7:30 ressie once and were there for over an hour...they continuously brought out hot fresh food.

same experience as above, we were there at 7:30 and stayed until at least 8:30. The food was fresh & hot and there was plenty of it. I think you will be fine!

also, I think you could go a little earlier if you are concerned. We had no problems getting into Cape May a few minutes before our ADR time.

We've had last ADR or did a walk-up at 9:30 PM at Cape May more than once. Food was still fresh and being replenished. As it got later the server asked if we wanted more of something specific and the chef would accommodate.
