Late Booking

My wife and I have some unexpected holiday that we can take in either May or July. There is only us and our 2 year old daughter so we will only need a studio. We are not fussy as to what dvc resort we stay in but would hope to escape for approx 10 days and if possible would like to get to vero for a few days. Well the ?ion is is there any possibility of getting availability at this late stage? Thanks in anticipation!

It seems that you are flexible with your days. There shouldn't be a problem finding a studio. We booked th 4th of July weekend 1 month prior in a studio, a labor day weekend the day of.

but in the last couple of weeks have checked re: availability and reserved a few different configurations for stays at BCV and OKW during the last two weeks in May (including over Memorial Day weekend) None of the possibilities that I inquired about, from studios to 2 bedrooms, was unavailable. From that, and your flexibility, I would assume you would have several choices for accommodations still available.

My feeling is that you never know until you try. Last year I was pleasantly surprised to be able to book at both WDW and Vero for March only about 4 weeks out. I just tried last week to book at WDW for March and got my first choice of a 2 bedroom at OKW with no problem. For fun, I asked about the other resorts and was told that with some checking they could probably find availability elsewhere as well. (Of course, the relatives I was booking for have now told me they want a different week in March. But that's a whole other story!)
