Late August travelers... MK on Saturday?

We always go the last week in August, and have always gone to MK on Sunday. Even though it was late hours that night, we've had good experiences for the most part, although each year it's getting busier and busier. My DH saw on another website that although Saturday normally tends to be busier at MK, that particular Saturday, 8/22, is better than Sunday. Not a big deal either way, but was now wondering if we should attempt it on Saturday. Any advice?

There is an evening EMH on Sunday, Aug. 24th which will make that day more crowded.
Josh does recommend MK on Saturdays in August which is contrary to most of the year due to the way WDW changed the schedule.

Newbie here so I cannot give you a technical answer.


We arrive on a Friday so our first day in the parks is a Saturday.

It may be ill advised to go on that day but if I don't go their will be a mutiny on my hands. I say go with what fits your schedule and your style.
