Late August Dates

Hey guys this is my first post on here and this is kind of a multi part question! I am going to Disney August 21st-28th this year and I cannot wait! I've heard the last week of august tends to get pretty slow, so I'm just wondering if I'm going to be waiting a long time waiting in lines for rides. Please let me know if I've heard correctly and if anyone has any good tips for the week that I am going, that would be great! Next question is does anybody know when the Magic Kingdom Hub Construction will be finished and any news on the pirates of the Caribbean ride being opened back up earlier than september 25th?

Any tips or advice would be great.

I'm going right around the same time! Can't wait. From the crowd calendars, it looks to be the "low-moderate" crowd range. Sounds good to me!

Hi! I am new hear too, me and my family only go in late August. Over the past couple of years it seems to be getting busier and busier. Disney is always busy! The kids in Florida are already back in school, so it is not too bad, but prepare for the heat! But we love going this time of year!

You should check out the crowd calendar at EasyWDW, that whole site is full of great info and touring strategies. And I believe that pirates of the Caribbean is scheduled to reopen at the end of September, I think it's the 25th. You will find the exact date shortly I'm sure if not Google it ...
