late afternoon GAD FP pickup worked for us!

We redeemed a GAD voucher late this afternoon (about 4:30 pm) to get fastpasses at Epcot. It was a very quick and easy process, and the fastpasses were great! There were just two of us, but the CM gave no indication that a larger party would have been an issue. I know there was a thread on this at one time (can't find it now) so I just wanted to pass along our experience, for what it's worth.

Great! I am planning on using one of our 4 vouchers for a late afternoon at DHS. I hope we have good luck as well. How are the crowds now? We are going in August, so it may be more difficult for us to have the same luck.

Thats great news considering today was a seriously busy day at the parks and Epcot was under "code red" for which park to pick. Thanks!

From some of the reports from the parks today, the crowd levels were at peak levels. Apparantly MK had 55k people go through the turnstiles today and they close the park at 60-65k so you may be in luck!

Arrived on Friday the 12th around 3:00, had no trouble getting the GAD pass. Came in very handy as all fast passes were gone for TSMM. It was raining and we used the standby at Tower of Terror and got a regular fast pass, too. Used the rest for RnR and TSMM!!

Did you get GAD Fp earlier in the AM at another park by chance? I have read that they may not allow that....

No, we didn't ever use two passes in one day. The 12th was our arrival day. We checked in to the Fort, hopped a bus, and were at DHS by 3. The first time we used Will Call/Guest Relations outside the turnstiles since we had to pick up our pre-ordered park tix there anyway. We ended up going back another day and thought we could use the inside the gates Guest Relations-shorter line. They sent us back outside to Will Call for GAD fast pass cards. We ran and got regular fast pass for TT and then went out to redeem voucher. It took some time running back and forth though....
