We have a late ADR for 8:40 p.m. at Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. On the night we plan to be there, the closing time is 9:30. Does this mean that Boma stops serving the buffet at 9:30 or do they stop taking guests at 9:30? Just wanted to make sure in case we were late getting seated. Thanks in advance! :flower3:

We wandered into Boma very late without an ADR on our last trip. By the time we finished eating, they had closed off the entrance, but the place was still packed and the buffet was running. If they closed at 9:30, I'm pretty sure we were still there after 10:00 (or later).

There will be fresh food and plenty of it as long as diners are still eating. We always take the latest ADR at Boma on our arrival night and are usually the last table eating. It's actually a perfect way to eat at Boma since the place is so noisy; as it empties out at the end of the evening, it gets quiet.

I didn't get into Boma until around 9:15 a couple years ago. There remained plenty of fresh food until I left-and I eat slowly. It also got a lot quieter as time went on. If I hadn't been so tired I'd eat late there again, since it tends to get rather loud at prime eating times, and I enjoyed the change.
