Late ADR / AK question

We have a 7:25pm ADR for Tusker House on a night that (thus far) advertised hours for AK are 9-7:30. For those that have been to AK at night already, does the Tree of Life continue to "awaken" after park closes? I'm just wondering if we'll have the opportunity to see it after dinner. Since sunset in October is around 7pm I'm doubtful we'll get any AK nighttime activities at all.

I am in the same boat. I'm not sure if I should go for the later time or not. I don't want to miss the nighttime activities due to dinner, but don't want to eat super early if there are no activities. HELP!!!!!!

When are you going? they have been slow at updating the hours. People were speculating that later int he year when it's dark earlier, it may still get a couple hours of dark but not opened to the hours it has been.. in december when it's getting dark around 5pm, 7:30 is a couple hours of dark and that might be accurate..

I know the tree goes off exactly at closing time but i've never lingered around to see if it happens again after that.

Our trip is Oct 3-8. I had the 7th planned for our AK night. Right now though have a 1:00 Biergarten because we were splitting EP/AK that day - but was banking on extended hours for just a little later than 7:30. I was hoping for just like 9pm maybe?
