last years christmas hours

Hello Everyone,

Trying to finalize our plans for our trip this December. We will be there December 19 to the 27th and wanted to know what the hours are like at the parks. Heard that the Magic Kingdom may open early on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and if we dont get to the park we may get shut out. Traveling with a 6 month old and didn't want any surprises. Any tips to get around for that week are appreciated. Thanks

From December 19 - 23, 2004 the hours for MK were from 9am to 11pm. Christmas Eve was 9am to midnight and Christmas Day was 8am to midnight. From December 26, 2004 onwards MK opened at 8am and closed at midnight.

I have been to MK on Christmas Day (in 1999) and the park was full by 10am. The crowds were unbelievable, so we left at the end of the parade - along with half the other guests! It took us an hour to get from one end of Main Street to the other! This past year, we avoided all parks on Christmas Day as DD3 was with us and I didn't fancy negotiating the crowds with her in the stroller!

Sorry I can't be more useful with any other park times but I can't find the schedules for them at the moment.

Hope this has helped a bit though - Christmas-time is lovely in WDW!

The only tip I can give you is: arrive early and be prepared for huge crowds. There really is no way around it...it's the most crowded time of the year. But loads of people go each year at the holidays and have a great time!
