I've read the last week of September is usually an average crowd. I was just down from December 13th-21st. Anyone know how it would compare to those dates?

We booked a bounceback offer (hoping for free dining that week) and will be going with some friends and want to experience the MNSSHP and Epcot Food and Wine.

I think it will be slower, but still a little busy. I know the F&W will be going on so that will add to the Epcot crowds. A great time to go.

I went to WDW the last week in September and it was somewhat busy, but not overwhelming. There were days when some of the parks were not crowded at all and we didn't have to wait in any lines at Animal Kingdom one day. Just follow the easywdw recommendations as it does make a big difference during this time of year which parks are busiest. The only park which we ran into heavy crowds was Magic Kingdom on a Wishes fireworks day. However, if you hit MK on a MNSSHP night when the park closes early, you may be alright.

I haven't been in December but I would say September would be slightly less busier than December, but not by much.

We went September 18th through the 25th of this past year which is a bit earlier than you are probably going. It wasn't bad crowd wise at all. The hardest thing for us was the heat. We had been in September many times before and never had it be as hot as this past trip. Just bring tons of water and you will be all good :-)

We did followed this schedule on this past trip and was amazed at how accurate it was!

Though we are from Alabama and will be fairly used to the heat/humidity. I know it will be hot. We will for sure drink plenty of water.

Hubby and I enjoyed our end of September trip. Stayed at CSR with the free dining. It is a great time to go. The crowds are manageable. The heat bothered me a little but I always take a break mid afternoon and go back to the resort for a rest and come back at night.
