Just curious because you can get the Entertainment Rate at the HoJo for practically the rest of September but not that week? So does that mean something is going on and it may be a popular time; therefore, no rate given?:confused3

If anyone has any insider info on why this may be I'd much appreciate whatever you can shed some light on since last year we went in October and man was it super busy there - like shoulder to shoulder busy 24/7...not pleasant and I would like to try and pick a less busy time this year. We were planning on the last week of September to hopefully catch the opening of the Haunted Mansion (that's if it opens the last weekend in Sept?) but then we really would like to get that super cheap rate...decisions, decisions...

Do they often post additional dates for the Ent Rate or is it already what you see is what you get kind of thing?

Sorry I'm rambling now so I'll shut up and leave it as...if ya got any info I'd luv to hear it! :goodvibes

Thanks

They often post additional dates for the entertainment rate. Check often.

Sometimes I google the anaheim convention center and look for the schedule of events...that can give you an idea of things going on that might bring in a ton of people.

UEA in UT is 10/1 & 10/2 ~ I'm guessing a lot of Utah families will head to DLR that last week of Sept. Gay Days will also be the 1st weekend of Oct. So perhaps that'll affect crowds for late Sept.

I was looking online and read that the UEA didn't fall on the same week as fall break. Is that true?

Well UEA is definitely the 1st & 2nd http://www.utea.org/newsEvents/ueaConvention/index.htm

A poster in UT county, 2nd or 3rd biggest (most students) district in UT mentioned a Fall Break the 15th & 16th. I assume they'll have the UEA break as well.

So perhaps Utah families heading to DLR this Oct. will be a bit more spread out. If we visit it'll be somewhere during the week of the 19th.
