Good evening. I need some info concerning weather at that time of the year, the park crowds? We are planning to do MNSSHP, would you recommend that? I had everything planned for the 1st week of Christmas and my brother said that he would to go back down with his little girl. I was soo excited!! It gives my husband someone to pal around with. :rotfl: I'm going to plan RPDE and maybe a fishing trip for them. I would have 3 kids by myself but we could do something. How old does the girls have to be to have the tea party w/ the princesses? My daughter is a huge fan of Cinderella and I think my niece would love it (I think she needs some special attn b/c my brother and his wife just seperated a couple of months ago and shes not taking it very well). He will let me plan anything that I want. He went last year and didn't have a very good time b/c he didn't have anything planned (I tried to tell them about Disboards, but they would not listen). But anything to help make this vacation a little more magical :wizard: for my kids and my niece would be greatly appreciated. And the Disboards rock. I have learned sooo much from you all. Thanks again.

Hi there, we visited disney at that time last year...the weather was a mixed bag due to hurricane wilma- from hot humid to downright chilly...We did MNSSHP on the 27th of Oct and it was fantastic,( in fact I wish we had saved our money and not gone to M.K on the day before as it was so crowded- hardly did any rides, impossible to see the parade properly). It was so cool at MNSSHP, it felt as if you had the park to yourself...some rides we didnt have to get off...we just kept riding..we even got a good view for the parade..totally a different feel.We did all the disney parks and universal and apart from M.K the crowds were o.k..As for the tea party I think its from 4 years old, as long as they are potty trained(but dont quote me) Have fun planning :earsgirl:

Hey we will be there at the same time! Oct.31st to Nov.7th everytime we go during this time of year. In 2003 the weather was hot and humid and thunder storms in the afternoon that would blow in and blow right out. Last year when we went we had some beautiful days and not a drop of rain and then towards the end the temps went up as did the humidity but not unbearable.Usually the first week of november can be crowded because of Jersey week. That is when a lot of school districts in my home state have a week long teachers convention so the children get a week off! In 2003 we arrived on the 29th and the first few days were wonderfull barely any crowds then it seemed like the entire population of new jersey arrived on the first! Last year same thing but we arrived a little earlier so we had a couple more quiet days. This year we are going about the same time frame as previous years, but I am hoping crowds wont be bad. The teacher convention is held the first week of Nov. this year the first full week of Nov. starts the 6th. So we should beat those crowds :goodvibes I hope! Fingers crossed! :goodvibes Have a great time on your vacation!

Keep in mind the Food and Wine festival is going on that time of year. We have gone that week for the last 3 years. It seems that the MK is always busy no matter what day you go that week. But we always do the MNSSHP so we know that we will be able to do everything that night due to lower crowds. I love Epcot so the FWF is one of my favorites!

The weather is always a mixed bag. We were there when Wilma came through and by mid-day the sun was out and 2 parks were open. It can be hot but not August hot. We love it.

Oh wow I completely forgot about the FWF!! It just never seemed as bad to me as when my fellow jerseyeans arrive! But we only add more to the mix! :rotfl: I think the majority of us are well behaved! (I think! :rotfl2: )

We were just there October 28-November 4. The weather and crowds were perfect. Some mornings were chilly so it was nice to have a lightweight sweatshirt or jacket nearby. I would highly recommend this time of year. We did MNSSHP. I thought it was really nice, but I did feel a little rushed. DD had just turned one (on that day) so we couldn't stay until the end. I don't think she got too much out of it, but she loved the parade! I would go again, but not until she is a little older maybe at least 3. Enjoy yourselves!
