Last week of April 2016

I am looking for some comparisons for those who were there at that time. We were there on our first visit Friday-Tuesday April 22-26. We went to MK on Saturday and Monday. Spent Sunday at Fort Wilderness. It was during Passover and although crowded we thought it was very manageable. Each night, I would look at actual crowd levels and they had them between 8-10 for the day. I was quite surprised but had nothing to compare with since we had never been.

Fast forward to today, we are looking at planning another trip back and are considering February, both for the potential of lower crowds and cooler weather. When reading a thread about Josh, it seemed that in his last update he mentioned that the crowds the last week of April were even worse than Easter (2016). So now I'm thinking that although it didn't bother us, we might have hit a crazy week last year without even trying. Our success at accomplishing rides/shows/ADRS, has me thinking that maybe we could go during a more crowded time with longer hours and fair just as well. (Mid-December, MardiGras, Early March)

For those still with me, was anyone else there near that time that could help me with comparisons for other busy/slow times? Thanks!

My family was also there the last week in April. I thought the crowds were manageable!! I definitely wouldn't have thought they would be considered an 8-10. We had also been the year before first week of May (crowd levels between 4-6), and this was possibly a tiny bit busier, but I feel like my crazy planning helped so that we got way more done!

Just as an FYI...last week in April next year is the Dark Side half marathon...that'll kick up crowds just a bit. On the other hand, most runners don't go into the parks on race days, so that might work in your favor.
