Normally I would NEVER consider going to WDW for "spring break" b/c of crowd levels. However, this year, because Easter and passover are father apart, many school districts up north have a week off for passover at the end of April. People that observe the holiday would likely not travel to WDW. I'm curious if other states also have this week off or do they only have the week off for Easter in March.
Undercover Tourist has moderate crowd levels for end of April, but not sure if that reflects the most up-to-date school district calendars of it just remains the same from year to year.

We are not getting a full week off in 2016. Instead, the schools will close for a 4 day weekend for Easter and 4 day weekend for Passover.

We have a long weekend for Easter and the entire week for Passover. Most schools where I am seem to have that in 2016.

What state are you in, if you don't mind my asking?
I'm thinking it will be a little more crowded than previous years at that time, but a lot less crowded than it will be in the summer (only other time of year if be able to go).

We always go the last week of April (it's our school vacation week) and the crowds have always been very reasonable.

Here next to Disney we are off for 10 days the 3rd week of March. With Easter being so early, it should be a little less busy by the end of April. But, spring breaks tend to run 2nd week of March - April. The busiest weeks BY FAR are the 2 weeks surrounding Easter. Hope this helps:)

I've learned from the DIS: Spring Breaks are scattered all over March and April, depending on where you are in the country. Some places have a "fixed" spring break (same week every year, regardless of Easter) and others have a "variable" break determined by when Easter is (which makes for the heaviest concentration at Easter, because you're combining the Easter-break guests with those whose annual spring break week just happens to fall at the same time). I'm guessing relatively few places (primarily in the NE) are getting a school break specifically for Passover, and as others have said, the fact that Easter is so early next year should make for fewer schools out in mid to late April. I'd guess Passover as a school holiday is roughly equivalent to Mardi Gras as a school holday in Louisiana and other gulf states.

central NY area has last week of april off due to testing schedules. I think most of NY state went this way this year. We are going that week. WDW prep school had an updated graph showing when schools had break the month of april, now for the life of me google can't find it. but i know it's there.

not WDW prep, but **************. but i still can't find it! i know it's there somewhere . . . .

If it's just NY it's not too bad-, but I'd imagine NJ does too. Next we need to also consider that many people that observe the holiday are not going to go to WDW.
Thanks for website- I'll check that out! Either way it's still prob a decent time for us New Yorkers to go!
