Last week Jan. DIS/DVCmeet Tuesday 1/25/11 @ 4:00!

Hi everyone,
Just back home last night from WDW after driving down with our son Jake for his College Program and then flying home ......we beat the snow by 30 minutes!! See everyone at OKW in less than 2 weeks......can't wait to see those palm trees again.........we only have about six inches of snow....but that's WAY too much IMO!! In the meantime, Jake has been assigned Attractions at HS working in the Back Lands area, which includes Backlot Tour; Lights, Motors, Action; Honey, I Shrunk the Kids play area, and Muppets 3D....also Star Tours (but he won't have the chance to work there since he'll be finishing his program on 5/13 and ST isn't reopening until a week later). His HS orientation is tomorrow so he'll know exactly which of the above Attractions his assignment will be. So, if anyone is visiting HS and near any of the above attractions look for a good looking kid with dimples named Jake from Penn State and say HI!!!

Just did online check in last night. It's starting to feel close now, so I think I'll have to dig out a suitcase and start a packing list!

I didn't even put my carry-on away yesterday after unpacking, Diane.....since I need to repack in less than two weeks! Hope you have a good drive down. We had good weather when driving from PA between the 5th and 7th. See you in 13 days!!

We are usually fine once we get past Louisville or St. Louis (depending on the route we take), but this year, who knows!!

OK everyone......Jake has received his work assignment.....he will be driving the tram on the Backlot Tour.....what a fun job!! So if you're at the Studios and plan on doing the Backlot Tour please look for Jake from Penn State and say Hi!!
