I have a bunch of questions, hoping someone can help me with a few answers.

I have 3 children, 7, 6, 4 at the time and we are thinking about going to Universal, both parks for a day during our trip to Disney the last week in October.

I was looking into buying the express ticket option, it would be 25.99 per person extra, and I am not sure if I even need it for an Oct trip???

Also, since we are staying on Disney property, what would be the best way to get to Universal?

Would 1 day be enough for both parks? Or should I buy the ticket special that they have going on now, two parks, for 79.99 for 7 days in a row??

My husband and I last went in 99 when IOA first opened, so we have not been there in almost 9 years. I bet a lot has changed!!!

You probably won't need to purchase the Express Passes. October is generally a slower period but you can purchase them once you get there if you think you need to.

The best way to get from Disney to Universal is probably Mears. You would need to call 24 hours in advance to make arrangements.

One day wouldn't be enough time to do both parks. There is too much to do at each park to try and rush it. Your kids will love Seuss Landing and the Curious George playarea. Your best bet on tickets is the current special...even if you don't use all seven days.

Hope that helps!

That does help, so I should really devote two days to do both parks??

I guess we could use Mears for transportation, they will pick us up and bring us home. I would know more than 24 hours in advance when we would be going!!

Thanks for the help

Yes...I think you should devote two whole days. I really think you would be rushing and the crowds at the Studios will start to build in the afternoon for HHN.

Ohhhh...sounds pretty cool. Although, my children are more at the Mickeys not so scary halloween party stage!!! :rotfl:

Oh yes...HHN is NOT for children...I wish some parents would get that through their heads. I hate seeing 5-7 year old kids being scared out of their minds and then hearing the parents complained.
