Last week in June or mid august

Need help trying to decide the best time to go. Went last august and the heat/humidity was unbearable. crowded too. Is it any better last week of June???????????

Yes,June is alot less crowded as UK schools have not broken up for their summer holidays yet.It is not so humid either.

I would say that of the two, August is much more humid. It will be hot in June, but August is usually worse in terms of weather.

If heat is most important, the August heat is a little more relentless.

If it's smaller crowds that are most important, IMO mid August is less crowded than the last week of June. The end of June leads up to the July 4 weekend and that is the most crowded week of the summer.

I went in both August and June. August always seems to heat up and it's much more crowded, in my opinion. I would suggest June, as the humidity isn't as unbearable, and the crowds are a bit smaller. June is also a bit better because a lot of teenagers and students are still in school, and just finishing up, so most families don't travel just yet. August is when a lot of people are off, so from my understanding more people go.

I would say go in August. We have gone at the start of the month in July and the crowds were so thick with people I could NOT get passed the bridge in Frontierland. I had to "squirm" my way around people (which ended up taking more miuntes than I would have liked) to get out of Frontierland. I have heard in numerous places that August was a better way to go. I have seen it in books, online, and on the boards here.
